It is said that the graphic creator app on the iPad will feature functions similar to its desktop counterpart.
The decision is an odd one, especially since the company has yet to fulfil its promise of bringing its Photoshop CC app to the tablet. On that note, the app is currently in beta. However, it reported that Photoshop for iPad beta does lack some key features from the desktop version. Adobe says that it will be adding more features of Photoshop on iPad over time. Additionally, tech blogger John Grubber (aka DaringFireball) also wrote that the Photoshop app does have the same base code of the desktop version, which means that further implementation of features could be possible.
That said, Adobe might showcase more features of Photoshop for iPad as well as reveal the Illustrator for iPad at the Adobe Max conference. For now, only time would tell what other plans Adobe has up its sleeves for the apps. (Source: Bloomberg, DaringFireball via The Verge // Image: Adobe)
