The Amazfit Bip U is a 41mm smartwatch that features a 1.43-inch HD TFT-LCD colour display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection. For personalisation, it features 50 watch faces to choose from and even allows users to upload their own images, as well as customise the home screen to fit their personal preferences. The smartwatch weighs roughly at 31 grams along with a strap, and is also water resistant with a rating of 5ATM.
The Bip U is equipped with the BioTracker 2 PPG sensor with OxygenBeats that measures heart rate and blood-oxygen saturation. It also includes sleep pattern monitoring via the SomnusCare system, stress monitoring and breathing exercises, and women’s health tracking capabilities. The watch’s all-round health and fitness tracking is further enhanced with Amazfit’s PAI 7 (Personal Activity Intelligence) health assessment system to help users monitor their physical well-being at a glance. Also onboard are over 60 sports activity modes ranging from biking, yoga, skating and many more. As with most smartwatches, the Amazfit Bip U also keeps track of the number of steps, distance travelled, as well as providing necessary smart functions such as notifications, remote camera shutter control, and music playback control.
The smartwatch is said to last up to 9 days via its 225mAh battery, and a full charge will take approximately two hours. The Bip U can also be further customised and managed through Amazfit’s Zepp app for mobile devices on both Android and iOS platforms. The Amazfit Bip U will is now available in Malaysia and is sold exclusively on the Amazfit official store in Lazada. In terms of pricing, the new smartwatch retails at RM249 and is available in three colours: green, pink and black.
