The original post on the thread has since been deleted, but not before several sites, including Videocardz, managed to screenshot the table, listing down the important details about the 6600XT. Such as its hashrate, power consumption, and its Performance-per-watt (PPW).

According to the table, the 6600XT has an Ethereum hashrate of 32MH/s, which is about 40% slower than the RTX 3060 Ti and a third of the hashrate of the Radeon VII. However, in contrast to the latter GPUs, the 6600XT consumes far less power at 55W; that’s approximately 75% less power than the Radeon VII and less than half the power of the RTX 3060 Ti. Do note that the 55W power consumption isn’t standard for all 6600XT models and does require some tweaking before it can do so. In this case, miner and YouTuber Dizzy Mining was only able to achieve the 55W on their MSI RX 6600XT Gaming X after reducing the card’s clockspeed down to 1.2GHz and increasing memory speed to 2.2GHz. Additionally, Tom’s Hardware also attempted to do the same with its own 6600XT, but only managed to reduce it from 95W to 75W. It is important to note that the 6600XT’s mining efficiency is limited to its Navi 23XT GPU specifically and isn’t necessarily a reflection of AMD’s RDNA2 GPU architecture as a whole. By comparison, it is much worse than NVIDIA’s Ampere architecture, due to Team Red’s GPUs having shorter memory buses. As such, the 6600XT and its GPU seem to be an exception to the rule. As we said at the start of the article, this discovery could lead to a new hoarding situation among GPU miners and leaving actual gamers in the lurch once again. It also doesn’t help that Bitcoin and Ethereum have been experiencing a rally over the week, with Bitcoin’s value now averaging at RM190000 and Ethereum at nearly RM13500.
