The rumour comes by way of a tweet from vegeta (@Broly_X1), who is predicting that AMD’s Zen 3 and RDNA3 architectures will be launching sometime during the fourth quarter of 2022. If the name sounds familiar, it is because this isn’t the first time vegeta has appeared; back in May, they leaked images of AMD’s alleged Radeon RX 6600XT graphics card, along with some of its supposed specifications.
RDNA3 will tape out later this year. — vegeta (@Broly_X1) June 7, 2021 In regards to RDNA3, vegeta says that the new GPU process is expected to be taped out sometime later this year and even speculates that the top-tier variant of the upcoming GPU could be called Navi 33, although that seems unlikely. For those who have been following AMD’s roadmap closely, the brand has consistently used a different name for each successive GPU, with each one being picked from existing constellations, starting with Polaris back in 2014. In addition, vegeta also predicted that AMD will be announcing a Zen 3 XT refresh this year, although an exact date was not given. (Source: Videocardz)
