The Studio Display arrives with a 27-inch 5K Retina display with 5120 x 2880 resolution at 218 pixels per inch, 600 nits brightness, one billion colour output with Display P3 support, and features True Tone display technology. Much like the top-of-the-line Pro Display XDR, the new monitor also features narrow borders, an aluminium enclosure with a slim side profile, and a choice between standard or nano-texture glass coatings for its screen. The Apple Studio Display is equipped with the A13 Bionic chip, and it is also the brand’s first ever monitor to come with Centre Stage tracking capability via its 12MP f/2.4 ultra wide camera. For audio, featured onboard is a six-speaker system with high-fidelity wide stereo sound, force-cancelling woofers, Dolby Atmos, and spatial audio support. Meanwhile, it also comes with a “studio-quality” three-mic array for calls and so on. Connectivity-wise, the new monitor features three USB-C ports and a single USB-C with Thunderbolt 3. Apple adds that the latter can also be used to fast charge compatible MacBook devices at 96W. Much like the Pro Display XDR, Apple also offers customers the option to pair the new Studio Display with different stands or a VESA mount adapter. Keep in mind that bundling the monitor with the tilt/height-adjustable stand will cost you extra. Speaking of which, the Apple Studio Display is priced at US$1,599 (~RM 6,687) with standard glass, and US$ 1,899 (~RM 7,942) for the nano-texture glass variant. The new monitor is expected to ship out on 18 March 2022 in the US. (Source: Apple [1] [2])
