At the top of the list is ASUS’ ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3070 that sports the brand’s triple-fan cooling solution and streamlined cooler shroud design. In particular, the two fans at the side feature 11 blades, while the fan in the middle sports 13 blades. Further, the auxiliary fans are designed to spin counter-clockwise, while the main fan spins clockwise, in order to maximise the cooling efficiency of the card.

Around the back, the card is fitted with a backplate with partial exposure of its heatsink at the edge, as well as full exposure of the GPU’s location on the card. Speaking of heatsinks, the ROG Strix RTX 3070’s heatsink is approximately 2.9-slots in size and has a polished surface where the GPU meets, allowing for better heat transfer and dissipation on a microscopic level. Moving on, there’s the ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 3070. As with all Dual series cards, the RTX 3070 version sports a clean, no-nonsense shroud designed and dual axial-tech fans that guarantee the same high-pressure and concentrated airflow channelled on to the card.

Last on the list is ASUS’ TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3070. Similar in size as the ROG Strix variant, its cooler shroud design looks more industrial and militaristic with its straight edge design and angular in it. Like the ROG Strix version, yet again, the card uses a triple axial-tech fan design plus a metal backplate for passive cooling and added rigidity. Regardless of the variants, all the cards are based off the same 8nm Ampere GA104 architecture, has 5888 CUDA cores, plus the same 8GB GDDR6 graphics memory running at 14Gbps. In terms of output ports, the cards come with two HDMI 2.1 ports and three DisplayPort 1.4a ports.

As for availability, all of ASUS’ cards mentioned here are already available for purchase at all authorised dealers and PC shops. Pricing starts at RM2699 for the Dual GeForce RTX 3070, but do note that there is also an OC version of the card and that retails for RM2899. Moving on, the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3070 retails at RM3199, while the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3070 will cost you RM3399. Due to the ongoing supply shortage of GeForce RTX 30 series cards – it’s mainly the GeForce RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 – some PC stores may only sell the card as part of a bundle or package deal with other components.
