As you might expect from its Pro moniker, the newly announced model carries a number of upgrades over the original Black Shark 2. Among them is a new processor in the form of Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus as well as UFS 3.0-based internal storage. At the same time, the Black Shark 2 Pro’s 6.39-inch AMOLED display has better latency than the original model at 34.7ms and 240Hz touch report rate although its refresh rate is still 60Hz. Black Shark has also implemented new design to the back part of Black Shark 2 Pro in order to improve its grip as compared to the original model.
Black Shark 2 Pro is also equipped with a 13 MP sensor for its secondary rear camera which a slight upgrade over the original 12MP camera. The phone also features two RGB lights on its back to cater those gamers that are living the #RGBLife although the company did retain the same 4000mAh battery from the non-Pro model. In China, the Black Shark 2 Pro is priced at CNY 2999 (about RM 1802) for the 12GB/128GB model while the 12GB/256GB variant can be obtained for CNY 3999 (about RM 2402).
