The Secretary-General of eSports Malaysia (ESM), Rinie Ramli has commented in a report by The Star that ESM will be organizing a national league in 2019. This league will act at the selection process for the national team that will compete at SEA Games 2019.
As per yesterday’s announcement, six gold medals will be up for grabs through eSports at SEA Games 2019. These medals are said to be equally divided among three platforms: PC, consoles, and mobile phones. That being said, only Mobile Legends: Bang Bang which is a mobile-based multiplayer online battle arena title has been confirmed for the event so far. More titles will be revealed in next few months according to Razer which is the official eSports partner for SEA Games 2019. (Source: The Star via eSports Malaysia)
