The Garmin Forerunner 745 is built around a 1.2-inch ‘transflective’ Memory in Pixel (MIP) always-on display with a resolution of 240×240 pixels. It measures at 43.8 x 43.8 x 13.3 mm, weighs at 47g, and is waterproof with a rating of 5ATM.
Built-in features include a blood oxygen sensor for VO2 max data and a pulse oximeter for sleep tracking. In terms of sports functions, the Forerunner 745 comes pre-loaded with activity profiles for swimming, biking, running, and much more.
Other than that, the smartwatch is also capable of providing notifications from your phone, onboard music storage and playback, and NFC payments via Garmin Pay. Connectivity-wise, the Forerunner 745 offers Bluetooth and WiFi support but no cellular output. The company claims that the new device is capable of lasting one week with moderate usage on a full charge, 16 hours with GPS activated, and up to 6 hours when used with GPS and music playback. The Garmin Forerunner 745 comes in four colour options: Black, Neo Tropic, Magma Red, and Whitestone.
