Equipped with a 6-inch Full HD+ Flexible OLED display, the screen also has what Google referred to as Smooth Display which essentially offers an adaptive refresh rate of up to 90Hz. The IPX8-rated phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor alongside 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.

In terms of photography hardware, the Pixel 5 carries a 12.2MP autofocus dual-pixel phase detection camera together with another 16MP camera on its back. For selfies, Google has provided an 8MP fixed focus camera on the top left corner part of the phone’s screen. A 4080mAh battery completes Pixel 5’s basics specs which also supports 18W fast chargers as well as 12W wireless charging. The phone also has reverse wireless charging capability which allows the phone to act as a Qi-based power bank.

Meanwhile, the new Pixel 4a 5G seems to have more in common with the Pixel 5 rather than the actual Pixel 4a. Alongside the 5G connectivity, the phone has the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor alongside the 12MP dual-pixel and 16MP ultrawide camera setup on its back as well as 8MP selfie camera and 128GB internal storage Google somehow decided to equip Pixel 4a 5G with a larger 6.2-inch Full HD OLED display although it doesn’t come with 90Hz adaptive refresh rate as per Pixel 5. This phone also has a smaller battery capacity at 3885mAh and doesn’t come with wireless charging capability but still supports 18W fast charger.

Pricewise, Pixel 5 is listed at USD 699 (~RM 2,899) while the Pixel 4a 5G goes for USD 499 (~RM 2,069). While none of these phones will be officially available in Malaysia, we are pretty sure your favourite parallel importers are already standing by for your call if you can’t contain yourself from wanting any of these new Pixel phones badly.
