According to 9to5Google’s source, both the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4XL will have similar features. As per our earlier report, the top bezel will house the Soli-Motion Sensing Radar that will be used for both the Hand Gestures and Face Unlock features. The source also says that the screen sizes for the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will be set at 5.7-inch and 6.3-inch respectively, and both will be OLED displays. Interestingly, the report also points out that the smaller Pixel 4’s display will only be limited to just Full HD+, while the Pixel 4 Xl’s display will offer a greater QHD+ resolution.

The biggest takeway about the displays, however, is that regardless of the resolution, the displays on both the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will support refresh rates of up to 90Hz. Google calls this refresh rate “Smooth Display”, but if we’re honest, it’s just a fancy name for a feature that even the OnePlus 7 Pro has. Even more surprising is that the source actually managed to score details about the phones’ internal hardware. Apparently, the smaller Pixel 4 will house a 2800MAh battery, while the plus-size Pixel 4 XL will have a beefier 3700mAh battery. Besides that, both devices will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, have 6GB RAM, and will be available in two storage configurations, 64GB and 128GB. There’s also new information about the main camera module for the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4XL. The source confirms that it will be a dual-camera system, with one sensor being a 12MP with PDAF. While the other sensor will be a 16MP telephoto lens. In addition, it also seems that Google is in the midst of developing an “DSLR-like” attachment for the phone. Lastly, both the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will come with stereo speakers, come with the same Titan M security module that was introduced with the Pixel 3, as well as some new Google Assistant feature that are exclusive to the Pixel 4 series.

As much as we’d like to take these bits of information as gospel, it is important to remember that everything written here is still just rumours. The good news is that Google’s annual Made by Google isn’t too far away. Surely, we’ll get all the confirmation about the phones once they launch. (Source: 9to5Google, Hot Hardware)
