Despite being different phones, they actually carry plenty of similar hardware. For example, both Y9 Prime 2019 and Y9s are powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 710F and they are also equipped with a 6.59-inch full HD LTPS display.
Both devices are also equipped with 16MP pop-up selfie camera which subsequently allows them to deliver full screen experience without being disturbed by any notches. Not to forget, they also feature a massive 4000mAh battery. When it comes to the main camera though, Huawei has opted for a 16MP sensor for Y9 Prime while the newer Y9s carries a 48MP sensor instead. However, both phones do feature the same 8MP ultra-wide camera and 2MP depth sensor.
Comes with 4GB of RAM, the Y9 Prime 2019 is now available with a new price tag of RM 799 which is slightly lower than its original launch price of RM 899. As for the Y9s which made its debut in our market today, it can be obtained for RM 999 and if you buy early enough, you would also receive a Huawei Band 4 for free. Sounds good?
