According to official specifications, the iQOO 11 5G sports a flat 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1440 x 3200 pixel resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 300 Hz touch sampling rate, and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The latter of which pits the new smartphone on par with competitors such as the likes of the ROG Phone series from ASUS. On that note, despite being marketed as a gaming-centric smartphone, the new device features a minimalist look rather than the typical loud and flashy designs of its competitors. However, making up for this is the tri-colour stripes on its rear panel, which marks the brand’s collaboration with BMW M Sport. As mentioned earlier, featured under the hood of the iQOO 11 5G is the flagship-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, paired together with a single memory configuration that consists of a whopping 16 GB of RAM, 256 GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. For an extra kick in performance, the brand has also included a built-in expansion tool that is able to convert up to 8 GB of storage into an equivalent amount of virtual memory, giving the device a total RAM capacity of 24 GB.
Besides that, it comes with stereo speakers, dual x-axis linear motor, an under-display fingerprint scanner, Android 13 via the Funtouch OS 13 platform, a built-in vapor chamber liquid cooling system, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC capabilities. Additionally, powering the smartphone is a 5,000 mAh battery that supports a fast charging rate of 120 W. For imaging, found on the back of the device and housed within a vertical glass island is a triple camera setup which consists of a 50 MP primary sensor, a 13 MP ultra-wide, and an 8 MP macro. Meanwhile, housed within the punch-hole cutout on its display is a 16 MP front-facing camera.
The new iQOO 11 5G is priced at RM 3,299, and is now available for purchase in Malaysia. Those interested may place their orders via the official online stores of vivo and iQOO on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok.
