As detailed on its Facebook page, the MCMC says this extension of free data validity starts today, 1 July 2020. And it will last all the way to the end of the year, 31 December 2020. This will of course be subject to availability by individual telcos. Digi has announced on Twitter and its own site confirming the extension of the 1GB of free data validity. Celcom and U Mobile have also made their announcements on their respective websites. Though as before, the free data allocation is only for education and work use. At the time of writing, Maxis has yet of issue an official announcement updating its free 1GB data details.
