MyEG has released another statement in which the company thanked the Ministry of Health for removing the Facebook post that claimed the MyEG COVID-19 rapid test kit is fake. In the statement, the company also pointed out that the kit has apparently received approval from other authorities across the world. Here is the full statement, which MyEG has published on its Facebook page: As shown above, MyEG is still committed to providing refunds if the kit didn’t manage to arrive in Malaysia for any given reason. We have also verified that MoH has indeed removed the original fake new post on its Facebook page. In the end, we are still left wondering of what actually happened whether its miscommunication or something else but we suppose we should expect to see MyEG test kit in the market very soon. UPDATE (18/03 – 3:15PM): MyEG has released a statement in response to the claim by the Ministry of Health (MoH) that its COVID-19 rapid test kit is fake. In general, the company reiterated once again that its test kit is legit and only awaiting for approvals from the authorities which is ironically, MoH itself. Looks like none of the parties are backing down from their respective claims.
