Jack of All Controllers reports that a 4chan post claiming to be from a Konami employee says as much. This claim is accompanied with other details, such as a possible remake of Metal Gear 1 and 2. As for Castlevania, it’s said that it will be a Bloodborne-like reboot. Of course, if Sony does achieve this, they will all be PS5 exclusives.
Of course, before we get too excited, it’s important to remember that this came from 4chan. While the site has a history of accurate leaks, its track record for inaccuracies are just as extensive. The only thing that’s giving credence to this particular one is that it predates the initial Silent Hill remake rumour from back in January. And on that front, the 4chan post seems to be accurate so far.
But either way, it’s still too early to be celebrating the return of these dormant titles. The best would be waiting for an official announcement, which may only come after the PS5 is officially launched. (Source: Jack of All Controllers)
