Sony has shared most of the features of the WF-SP800N with us already, and it looks like nothing much has changed since. It’s got an IP55 rating making it dust and water resistant. And to ensure you hear what’s going on around you when you workout outdoors, it come with Adaptive Sound Control. This allows you to adjust the amount of ambient noise you want going through the earbuds.
Other features of the Sony WF-SP800N include 360 Reality Audio which lets you optimise your listening experience. Then there’s wearing detection, allowing the buds to pause your music when you take it off, and resume when you put it back in. As for battery life, Sony is sticking to its earlier claims that the WF-SP800N can last for 9 hours. With its charging case, this goes up to 18 hours with noise cancelling on, and 26 hours without. As for charging speed, the company says you can expect an hour of play time with 10 minutes of charging. The Sony WF-SP800N true wireless earbuds are now available for RM849. The company says it is now available at its Sony Stores in KLCC, The Curve, and other authroised dealers. It will also be on Sony’s own online store, as well as its flagship store on Lazada. But at the time of writing, they don’t seem to be available just yet.
