“Malaysia is going through a particularly challenging time and in light of the current climate, we feel it is appropriate for GoPayz to #GiveBack to the community,” said U Mobile chief marketing officer Jasmine Lee. “Even though it seems like we are only giving each user RM5 but we are actually dedicating up to RM1 million for this effort so that we may widen the reach as much as possible.”
The telco says that to qualify for the GoPayz #GiveBack campaign, users are only required to sign up for the e-wallet. The RM5 cash will then be delivered to them within 3 working days upon successful registration. On top of that, it is also offering a promotional price of RM2 per month to customers who subscribe to their GoLife Plus micro life insurance plan for the first 2 months. The insurance plan is underwritten by SunLife Malaysia, who has recently set up a special COVID-19 relief fund for customers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. (Source: GoPayz)
