Just likes its predecessor, the Nubia Z20 sports a unique dual display setup. Both AMOLED displays, the main display is a 6.42-inch curved Full HD+ panel, while the AMOLED display at the back measures in at 5.1-inches and has a maximum resolution of HD+. Also, the secondary display will carry the”always-on” function. Specs-wise, the Nubia Z20 is the first phone under the ZTE sub-brand to run on new Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855+ SoC. It has up to 8GB RAM and a 4000mAh battery with 27W PD fast charging. It’s internal storage capacity varies between 128GB and a whopping 512GB UFS 3.0, making it one of the few phones to sport the ultra-fast storage medium.

In the case of its camera module, the Nubia Z20 features a triple-camera array, comprising Sony’s 48MP IMX586 main sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide angle, and an 8MP telephoto lens with a 3x optical zoom. Due to its unique dual display setup, the main camera also doubles as the selfie camera, therefore sparing the main display from having a notch or punch hole in it. Further, ZTE says that its phone is capable of recording 8K videos at 15 fps, as well as capture slow-motion video at 1920 fps. To further add to the phone’s uniqueness, the Nubia Z20 features two side-mounted fingerprint scanners, with one on each side. The idea behind this design is so that no matter which display you’re using, there’s always one on the right side.

The ZTE Nubia Z20 is already available for pre-order in China, and will come in three variations. The first version starts at 6GB/128GB and will retail for 3499 Yuan (~RM2072), while the 8GB/128GB version goes for 2699 Yuan (~RM2191). Finally, the decked-out 8GB/512GB version will retail for 4199 Yuan (~RM2487). At the time of writing, ZTE did not specify local availability and pricing.
